During February and March, HIS+DOM leaders and volunteers organized two of HIS+MOM retreats for foster moms from the villages of Sloboda and Minsk.

In May, HIS+DOM leaders organized the final two HIS+MOM 2025 retreats for foster mothers from the villages of Sloboda, Minsk, and Bobruisk, just before school vacations. These HIS+MOM retreats enable foster mothers to concentrate on several essential aspects: prayer, connecting with other Christian mothers, and participating in team-building activities.

On December 14th,
HIS+DOM leaders and volunteers hosted the HIS+MOM retreat for foster moms from the villages of Sloboda, Minsk, and Bobruisk! Seven foster moms attended this retreat.

Most people in Belarus and Eastern Europe will celebrate Christmas on January 7th (Greek Orthodox Christmas). In Belarus, HIS+DOM plans to provide gifts for orphans and orphan care providers at 8 orphanages/orphan shelters and 25+ Christian group homes. Over 1 300 gift boxes will be delivered by our leaders and volunteers.

In the last month, HIS+DOM leaders and volunteers hosted two HIS+MOM retreats for foster moms from the villages of Sloboda, Minsk, and Bobruisk! Six foster moms attended each retreat. Our foster moms always enjoy this little escape from their daily responsibilities.

From mid-April, HIS+DOM hosted 3 successful HIS+MOM retreats for group home foster moms and 3 team retreats where we trained our teammates for Best Friend Family Camp 2024. We also hosted HIS+WAY Bible studies for 5 group homes at least twice a month during April, May and June. 

HIS+DOM leaders are excited for Best Friend Family Camp 2024. In mid-July, we will have 11 foster families joining us to share Christ’s love and joy. We spend all year preparing for camp, and we are so excited for all the things we have planned for these families!
