MARCH 28, 2025 HIS+DOM Workshop

On March 26, HIS+DOM invited a pastor and counselor, Igor Malin, from Transfiguration Church in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia, to provide trainings to our local partners. Pastor Igor led a workshop focused on dealing with toxic people. Included in the workshop were 18 teachers from a special needs orphanage where we deliver gifts during HIS+CHRISTMAS and HIS+EASTER.

And we are already busy preparing for HIS+EASTER 2025. On April 20th, we will celebrate the resurrection by sharing the story of Jesus with 1000+ orphans and orphanage staff through the distribution of gifts. Each box cost $25, and you can partner in this amazing work. Help us share the story of Jesus this Easter season.

March 24, 2025 HIS+DOM Leadership Retreat

On March 22nd, the HIS+DOM leadership team had its third retreat this year. We trained 11 volunteers from 8 local churches who will minister with us to orphans, foster children, and Christian foster parents in our upcoming Best+Friend Family Camp in July.
And we are already busy preparing for HIS+EASTER 2025. On April 20th, we will celebrate the resurrection by sharing the story of Jesus with 1000+ orphans and orphanage staff through the distribution of gifts. Each box cost $25, and you can partner in this amazing work.

March 20, 2025 HIS+MOM Retreat

On March 15th, HIS+DOM leaders and volunteers hosted the third HIS+MOM 2025 retreat for foster moms from the villages of Sloboda, Minsk, and Bobruisk! Five foster moms attended this retreat. The HIS+MOM retreat allows foster mothers to focus on a few important things: prayer, connecting with other Christian moms, and team building activities.

And we are already busy preparing for HIS+EASTER 2025. On April 20th, we will celebrate the resurrection by sharing the story of Jesus with 1000+ orphans and orphanage staff through the distribution of gifts. Each box cost $25, and you can partner in this amazing work.

FEBRUARY 28, 2025 - HIS+MOM Retreat

On February 22nd, HIS+DOM leaders and volunteers hosted the second HIS+MOM 2025 retreat for foster moms from the villages of Sloboda, Minsk, and Bobruisk! Eight foster moms attended this retreat. This time, based on our mom’s request, we invited a minister who introduced them to Christian financial management. Our moms learned how to be better stewards of their blessings from God.

FEBRUARY 27, 2025 HIS+WAY Bible Study

In February, Veronica, our HIS+WAY Bible Studies leader, continued reaching group home families near Minsk! Veronica and HIS+DOM volunteers led HIS+WAY Bible Studies in 4 group homes, and she also practiced HIS+WAY Bible Studies during a Christian Youth Meeting at Green Ranch.

And we are already busy preparing for HIS+EASTER 2025. On April 20th, we will celebrate the resurrection by sharing the story of Jesus with 1000+ orphans and orphanage staff through the distribution of gifts. JANUARY 29, 2025 HIS-XMAS

1/29/2025

This January in Belarus, our HIS+DOM team and volunteers assembled and delivered gifts for orphans and orphan care providers at 8 orphanages/orphan shelters and 25+ Christian group homes. Over 1,300 gift boxes were delivered by our leaders and volunteers.

HIS+DOM traditionally invites 25 foster kids from Christian group home near Minsk to assemble HIS+XMAS gift boxes. Our partners from 10 local churches and ministries also offered HIS+DOM assistance making Christmas greetings cards that were added to the gift boxes.

JANUARY 24, 2025 HIS+MOM Retreat

On January 18th,
HIS+DOM leaders and volunteers hosted the first HIS+MOM 2025 retreat for foster moms from the villages of Sloboda, Minsk, and Bobruisk! Ten foster moms attended this retreat. Even though this winter has brought less snow and cold than normal, the moms enjoyed a Russian sauna at the end of the retreat.

On December 14th,
HIS+DOM leaders and volunteers hosted the HIS+MOM retreat for foster moms from the villages of Sloboda, Minsk, and Bobruisk! Seven foster moms attended this retreat.

Most people in Belarus and Eastern Europe will celebrate Christmas on January 7th (Greek Orthodox Christmas). In Belarus, HIS+DOM plans to provide gifts for orphans and orphan care providers at 8 orphanages/orphan shelters and 25+ Christian group homes. Over 1 300 gift boxes will be delivered by our leaders and volunteers.
