Two weeks ago, HIS+DOM leaders were invited to attend an event to learn about orphan trauma and learn effective methods of responding to orphan’s trauma during the Trauma Competent Caregiver Training in Klaipeda, Lithuania.

Over 120 attendees from state agencies and nonprofits from the USA, UK, Middle East, EU and Belarus spent three days learning and working together at LC College, Lithuania.

We are excited about what we learned and look forward to using the information to strengthen the families we serve through HIS+DOM.
